AI Contract Scanner ("the Service") is a web-based tool that uses artificial intelligence to analyze legal contracts and documents. The Service:

• Scans uploaded contracts for potentially risky, unusual, or noteworthy clauses.
• Assigns a health score reflecting the overall risk profile of the document.
• Provides plain English explanations of legal language.
• Suggests counter-language you may consider proposing (not legal advice).
• Generates downloadable PDF reports summarizing the analysis.

By using AI Contract Scanner, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Not upload documents containing malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models or proprietary algorithms.
• Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our written permission.
• Not resell, redistribute, or white-label the Service or its outputs without authorization.
• Not intentionally submit fraudulent, illegal, or harmful content for analysis.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

AI Contract Scanner offers the following plans:

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in USD and do not include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers.

• Pro subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your account dashboard. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds for unused time.
• 7-day free trial — Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged. No credit card is required to start.
• Single Report purchases ($4.99) are non-refundable once the AI analysis has been generated, as the processing cost has been incurred.
• Billing errors — If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us within 30 days at hello@aicontractscanner.com and we will investigate promptly.

Your privacy is fundamental to our service. In summary:

• Contract text is processed in real-time and never stored on our servers.
• We retain only your email, account metadata, and usage statistics.
• Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI models.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

• We do not warrant that the AI analysis will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
• We do not guarantee that the Service will identify all risks, issues, or problematic clauses in any document.
• AI analysis is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.
• We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI CONTRACT SCANNER AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

• Your content — You retain all rights to the contracts and documents you upload. We claim no ownership over your content.
• Our content — The Service, its design, branding, AI models, code, and generated analysis templates are owned by AI Contract Scanner and protected by intellectual property laws.
• Report outputs — You may use the generated reports for your personal or business purposes. You may not resell the reports as a standalone product.

• By you — You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us. We will delete all your data within 30 days.
• By us — We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless immediate action is required.
