• Email address — When you create an account or sign in via email verification code, Google, or Apple.
• Account metadata — Sign-in method, account creation date, and last login timestamp.
• Usage data — Number of scans performed, report purchases, and subscription status. We do not store the contents of your scans.
• Payment information — Processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Device and browser info — Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and IP address for security and analytics.

• We never store your contract text. Documents are processed in memory and discarded immediately after analysis.
• We never sell, share, or trade your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
• We never use your data to train AI models. Your contracts are not used for any machine learning purposes.
• We never require passwords. Authentication is handled via secure email codes or social sign-in providers.

Your email address is used exclusively for:

• Authentication — Sending one-time verification codes to sign you in securely.
• Transaction receipts — Confirming purchases and subscription changes.
• Service updates — Critical updates about your account or changes to our service (rare).
• Product newsletter — Only if you explicitly opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

AI Contract Scanner uses Anthropic's Claude API to analyze your contracts. When you upload a document:

• Your contract text is sent to Anthropic's API for real-time analysis.
• Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models, per their data usage policy.
• API requests may be temporarily logged by Anthropic for abuse prevention (up to 30 days), but are not used for model training.
• No contract text is stored on our servers before, during, or after the API call.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• Encryption in transit — All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS 1.3.
• Encryption at rest — Account data is encrypted using AES-256 in our database.
• Minimal data retention — We only keep what is necessary for your account to function.
• No contract storage — The most sensitive data (your contracts) is never persisted.
• Secure authentication — Passwordless sign-in eliminates the risk of password breaches.

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Deletion — Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export — Download your scan history and account data in a portable format.
• Unsubscribe — Opt out of any marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
• Correction — Request corrections to any inaccurate personal data.
